Following are general tips: You should have passports for all passengers (including ALL children). Please ensure that they are valid for at least 6 months prior to your return date in order to speed up processing when clearing customs. IMPORTANT: All U.S. CITIZENS TRAVELING ABROAD: a valid passport will be required for persons of all ages returning by air or sea from any international destination. State issued birth certificates with government issued I.D. will no longer be an acceptable form of proof of citizenship. Failure to comply will result in denied boarding.

NEW Carry-on policy: In the light of recent events, there is a new policy in effect regarding prohibited items on an airplane. Read the press release from the Department of Homeland Security.

Children: Mexico and Dominican Republic - Both countries require that children under 18 travelling without BOTH parents MUST have a NOTARIZED letter from the non-accompanying parent(s) stating that they have given consent for the child to leave the country. If one parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate is required. If the last name of the child is different from the last name of the accompanying parent(s), proof of parentage is required.
