| General Facility Description |
| Renovated in 2005, this hotel comprises a main building and a neighbouring building, with a total of 430 rooms on offer. Facilities on offer include a garden and terrace in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, two lifts, a hairdresser, five bars, four restaurants, and a pub. Guests may dance the night away with their favourite songs in the Galaxy nightclub, which is also a good place to meet other guests. Two souvenir shops ensure that the perfect memento will be found. Additional amenities available include a casino, a games room, conference facilities, a public Internet connection, room and laundry services, and parking for those arriving by car. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 can enjoy themselves in Club Mongoose, while the Pirate's Cove Teen Centre entertains older children. The hotel even offers guests the possibility of an on-site wedding.
The rooms are located either in Sunrise or Sunset Tower, and feature a furnished patio or a balcony with views over the mountains or the garden. Tiled floors, pastel shade walls, and tropically coloured fabrics all contribute to the pleasant atmosphere, and standard fittings include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone with voicemail, satellite/ cable TV, and a king-size bed or two double beds. In addition, a writing desk with chair, a safe, and an iron and ironing board are also provided in all accommodation as standard. The air conditioning and heating are individually adjustable.
Guest may serve themselves not only a continental breakfast, but also lunch and an evening meal from the buffet. In the evenings guests may dine à la carte or chose from the set menu. It is also possible to book an all inclusive stay. It has 4 restaurant, and one completely new restaurant serving Caribbean cuisine a la carte.
Land and water-based sports, use of the three swimming pools, the kids' club, the Teen Centre, and the water park are all included in the room price.
Leave the airport and drive westwards on the motorway in the direction of Montego Bay. Near the centre of Montego Bay, turn right into Howard Cooke Boulevard. Turn right again into Southern Cross Boulevard and then right once again into Sunset Boulevard. Then continue straight on until reaching the resort.
