Opened in 2002, this air-conditioned family-friendly conference hotel comprises a 3-floor main building as well as a fourteen 3-storey annexe blocks with a total of 769 rooms. A system of subterranean rivers canals cut through the complex and make the complex blend harmoniously into its natural surrounds, with the Maya ruins and tropical rainforests located in the near surrounds. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility, 6 shops, a hairdresser's salon, 10 bars, a nightclub, a theatre hall, 11 air-conditioned restaurants, 3 conference rooms, bicycle and car hire services, a car park, a garage and a car park. Additional fees apply for use of the public Internet terminal, laundry services and medical assistance. There is also a laundrette's open for use on the complex and children aged between 4 and 12 years of age many take part in the kids' club activities.
